What You Can Expect
When You Sell To Giant
- Honesty and integrity
- The highest baseball, basketball, football, and soccer card comps in the industry
- Smooth and painless process
- Immediate payment
What We’re Currently Buying
- Vintage cards of stars (pre-1980). In particular, we are looking for cards from 1969 or earlier. Cards from the 1970s can be hit or miss, but we’re happy to look at them.
- Complete sets from 1980 or earlier.
- Rookie cards of elite Hall of Famers from 1986 and before.
- Rare inserts from the 1990’s Hall of Famers.
- Modern (2000-present) stars, including rookie cards, autograph/patch cards, and numbered parallels/short prints.
- Pokémon alternate arts, secret art rares, special art rares, WotC holos, and illustration rares.
- Graded cards of all sports and TCG/Pokémon.
- Select factory-sealed Pokémon boxes/cases.
What We’re Not Currently Buying
- Cards from the 1980s and 1990s that are either: not graded, not a rookie of a GOAT, not a rarer insert or refractor. Unfortunately, manufacturers overprinted cards during this “junk wax” era, so there is little value and demand for 99% of the cards from this era.
- Common cards from 1960 to present.
- Modern base cards.
- Common inserts or non-numbered parallels of any athlete that's not an elite rookie or likely Hall of Famer.
- Autographed memorabilia that is not authenticated.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I sell my sports cards for cash?
Whether you’re looking to get the best soccer card comps or basketball card comps, it’s best to stick to reliable stores, like Giant Sports Cards, which have an established track record. Giant Sports Cards is also a certified PSA dealer, so you can get those cards graded and earn even more cash!
What percent of comps do you pay?
It all depends on the card! Typically, we pay higher comps for graded cards since there is more of a defined value for those vs. raw/ungraded cards. For graded cards, our comps can vary anywhere from 70-90% on average, and raw cards can be 60-80% on average. Rest assured, we will always be fair to you and pay you top dollar!
I have a massive collection. Is there a way you can come to my house to look through it?
Getting the best sports card comps is as easy as heading over to our shop. However, for specific collections, we are able and willing to come to you to look through them. Email us with some pictures and details at sell@giantsportscards.com, if you are interested in having us take a look at your collection.
How do I know what my cards are worth?
There are many good resources out there these days if you’re looking to research football card comps and other sports card values, but a good place to start is www.130point.com. This shows the actual prices cards have recently sold for. A common misconception some people have about card comps is that they see, for example, a soccer card on eBay posted for sale for a certain amount. Just because a card is listed for sale for an amount does not make it worth that amount, nor does it mean anyone would ever buy it at that amount, so we look at actual recent sales data to determine comps.
Can I drop my cards off and have you look through them so I don’t have to wait?
Absolutely! We have cameras all over the office and a secure process in place to protect anything you may want to drop off. Whatever is best for you is good with us, and you can wait with your collection or drop it off.
Am I forced to sell any or all cards that you look through of mine?
No! We don’t just offer high baseball, basketball, and soccer card comps; we’re also all about flexibility. We will provide a price for each card, and though we’re confident our offer will be strong, if it doesn’t work for you, you are not required to sell us anything. Or, if you want to sell some and keep some, that works too!
